28 weeks!

How Far Along? 28 weeks

Weight Gain? I'm gonna go with 19 this week! :)
Stretch Marks? Lathering and lathering, hoping I can make that one disappear and not get anymore!
Gender? Leighton Kate!
Sleep? still not fab, i could crawl in bed right now!
Movement? lots of it - strong ones lately, they make me jump a bit! :)
Food Cravings? cinnamon goodness!
Anything making you queasy or sick? nothing too bad
Labor signs? Just a few Braxton Hicks here and there.
Belly button in or out? that sucker is flat already!
Wedding rings, on or off? still on, they did get a little tight after Christmas dinner! HA!
What I Miss? being able to breath normal, see below
Symptoms? so remember me talking about little anxiety attacks/shortness of breath? well they haven't gotten any better, worse at times actually. At points, I have almost passed out while breaking out in a sweat, getting dizzy, and seeing spots. It's really scary when it gets to that point not to mention the annoying-ness of not breathing normally on a regular basis. My doc sent me to a cardiologist to make sure that I didn't have something that I can't remember the name now, but something pregnant women can after an EKG and Echo, I was cleared from that (I can't imagine what that 2 hours cost me!). But they still aren't sure what is causing it. I have an irregular heartbeat, which can be caused from the pregnancy. They are sending me some sort of device to wear for a week to track my heart and see what all it is doing. Sounds fun, right?
Good news is I passed my glucose test! YAY!!!
Bad news, I'm anemic again....oh joy! I wasn't surprised there, I was with Elise and I have always been borderline anemic....bring on the daily Iron pills!
Happy or Moody? I have been very happy, I love the holidays - especially with E! But today, I am a bit moody....too much to do! :)
Best Moment of the Week? Christmas morning, it is so different and so much more fun now with E! Full recap to come soon! :)

Stretch Marks? Lathering and lathering, hoping I can make that one disappear and not get anymore!

Our Christmas Card!

I adore Christmas Cards.
Like, they may be one of my top 5 favorite things of the season.
Love them.
Especially these days, as everyone is having babies so these cards are the sweetest!
I made a new way to display ours this year, and I love it! :)
This was the first day we got cards, so it MUCH for full now!! :)
So I, of course, wanted to share ours with all of Blog friends - a virtual Christmas card, if you will!
I went with Shutterfly this year, as I found a killer deal!
They were running a specials, plus a few coupon codes I found!

I am having a slight obsession with gold this year, so I adored the gold sparkly!
And I love this pic because E is having the best time :).
Pics were taken by the always fabulous, Hannah Elaine, I'll have to show you outtakes soon. E was not having the shoot this year! :)
And just for fun, here are a few of our past cards...

Sassy Sweet Pea Designs Giveaway!

Hey Ladies,
So remember when I said I had an awesome give-away like 2 weeks ago.....well today is finally the day!! :)

Marie and all her sweetness over at Sassy Sweet Pea Designs (facebook page) contacted me about a month ago about offering my girls a headband for review. I, of course, screamed yes (you know, with lots of exclamation points in an e-mail :)) and got very excited.
Us Bellar girls loooove some headbands!
Less than a week later I got a little goody bag in the mail...

I just love seeing anything with my girls' names on it, makes me smile real big! :)
And much to my surprise, she didn't just send one headband for each...she several!!
And coordinating at that!! Perfect for all the matching outfits they will have!!
So I immediately started trying them on my sweet little model, Miss E!
I think these burlap ones my be my fave!
A pink one for E, and a purple one for L!
I have become some what of a headband connoisseur in the 18 months of being a momma to a bald little angel, seriously we have like 50....easy....
And some just don't fit properly, some don't lay right, others fall apart....but these are good, good all around!
Seriously, she even made different sizes so they fit L when she arrives and E right now. Big plus!!
She was kind enough to make my day with all those beauts and now she wants to do the same for one of you lucky little readers! :)

One lucky winner will win $10 to her Etsy store, check it out!
And she has also offered free shipping to all my readers, just use code LOVELYLITTLELIFE

Just enter the rafflecopter link below. The giveaway will end on Friday, 12/20 and I will announce the winner on Monday. It will be like an early Christmas present! :)

Thank you so much, Marie! I absolutely love them and can't wait to see them on both of my girls!!

Holiday Festiviness!!

Hey Ladies!!
We are a little over a week from Christmas -eek!!
And that also means, it's my birthday week - double eek!!
We won't talk about age, mkay?

I have a bit of a picture overload for you on this lovely Monday morning.
We had quite a busy weekend filled with Holiday goodness, so I was sure to take too many lots of pics!

Thursday night started out with our Annual Ladies Christmas Supper Club. We always bring a few of our favorite holiday apps/desserts and then have an ornament swap along with bringing a gift for Toys-for-Tots. We are going on 4 years now, and I love doing! :)
Sadly we took no pictures of that little party....but I do have a pic of our playdate pajama party from earlier that week! :)
We were missing our sweet Stoneking girls, but we did get to add sweet little Kate this time! :)
Okay on to the weekend.
Friday, Momma and I got some much needed Christmas Shopping done!
Elise, of course, was a big help!
I also proceeded to buy my first pair of matching PJs for my girls.....I could die.....I see a lot more of these in out future!
Then after hours and hours of shopping and almost finishing it all, we headed home where my in-laws had arrived.
Then, something awesome happened....The Hubs and I had a date night!
It's been a while since that happened.
It was so nice and fun to be just us, at one of our favorite restaurants.
Must do that more often!

Saturday we headed to downtown Franklin (I love our new little town!!!) to attend one of our very favorite Christmas events, "A Dickens of a Christmas". We have gone for the past 3 years and we just love it. They shut down the square and have all sorts of fabulous holiday vendors along with Christmas Carols, buggy rides, nativity animal petting zoo (where I saw the biggest rabbit I have ever seen in my life - seriously, it was like the size of our puggle...), over 250 people dressed in Dickens character get-ups, and of course good old fashioned greasy street food. Apple strudels, funnel cakes, corn dogs, popcorn, hot chocolate, fried twinkies, french fries, nutella egg rolls....all calorie free, of course - it's the holidays!

We all got bundled up!
Fun with Nana & Papa!
I love this pic of Laura and I and our girls!
We had lunch at one of our favorite restaurants, 55 South, on the square....where Laura and I proceeded to get a bag of "donuts" as an appetizer....they were beignets, and they were glorious!
The girls had quite the time!
We headed home shortly after that as Eleanor was already passed out and E wasn't far from it.

E and I took a nap and woke up to find Leighton's crib put together!!!
My awesome father-in-law did it for us!
It's Jenny Lind, and I got on sale Cyber Monday for $150 plus free shipping! SWEET!
E approves :)
Saturday night we had the idea to go to Opryland to look at the lights, but we quickly nixed that idea due to the crazy crazy crowds!

So we had dinner in, watched The Heisman Award Ceremony, CMA Country Christmas, and I put together one of E's many Christmas presents!
It's that fabulous $20 table from Ikea! I also started painting it yesterday.
I painted the top chalkboard and have the primer on the rest, hoping to finish it up tonight.
I am going paint it a minty green/turquoise color and then the dip look on the bottom in gold. I can't wait to get it finished. I think she is going to LOVE it!

Sunday we headed to Cheekwood Botanical Gardens for their holiday festivities.
We started out with lunch at the Pineapple Room where I proceeded to eat this for dessert....
I'm so gonna fail that glucose test...ha!
They have live reindeer there, who were actually featured in the December issue of Southern Living! :)
Elise loved them. She wanted to get out of her stroller so bad, but it was so cold we wanted her to stay bundled up. But she kept pointing at them and talking to them. It was the sweetest!
While waiting to see Santa we headed up to the mansion to see all the decorations.
They had a display of trees all over the mansion, each tree having a different color in each room.
I wish I had taken more pictures of them, they were all gorgeous!
The purple tree, this pic clearly doesn't do it justice, it was my favorite one! :)
The green tree
 Awesome light!!

Then it was time to head down to see Santa!!
 E was excited!!
I'm not sure if she is completely aware of who Santa is, but every time we say his name she gets SUPER excited!

So it is now almost 2:00 and the child has yet to have a nap...all day! We did what we had to while we waiting in line for 20 minutes....she did so good.
So, it wasn't really that she didn't like Santa - there were no tears - but she didn't want to sit still. At All.
So Daddy and I had to get in the pic with her! :)

I actually love it. Our last Christmas with just E, so it was a special pic! :)
PS, that Santa was amazing. He was so so sweet and accommodating! If you are local to Nashville, I recommend going there to see him! :) They also have lots of arts and crafts and other goodies for kids while they wait to visit Santa, activities I know E will love when she gets a little older!

We finished up Sunday with The Hubs and my FIL picking up Leighton's dresser (YAY!) and me finishing up the Christmas shopping. I'm done. Thank. Goodness!! :)
And then I spent the rest of the night wrapping, wrapping, and wrapping some more! I just have a little more to do, just waiting on them to arrive!
So as you can tell by my total picture overload, it was an absolutely fabulous and festive weekend!
Sad it's over, but enjoyed every second with family and friends!

I've got another full week ahead of me - lots more festiveness!! :)

Hope you all had a equally fab weekend!
