A babymoon, if you will....

Hi there!!
It's me, I'm back, and relaxed, and wishing I was back in my new favorite cabin!!

The Hub's surprised me with a long weekend trip to The Smoky Mountains, one of our favorite places.
The Hubs looooves East TN as he went to school in Knoxville and we have friends that live in Townsend, TN....which is our favorite place.
The Hubs has been taking me there since we first started dating and it holds lot of memories and even more to come.
We have spent 2 New Years Eves there...
2008/2009
Me and my girls dancing around in Cades Cove....
In the park!
2010/2011
A little New Year's Party
 The boys and the fire
& my girls!
and plan on doing a lot more!
It's a tiny little town just on the other side of the park from Gatlinburg, so we can drive to Gatlinburg if we want to but we don't have to deal with all of the crazy touristy stuff if we don't want to.
It's perfect.
So we went for a long weekend, just the two of us....for the first time...and it was awesome!
Oh and the pups too! Who had an a fabulous time!! :)
Here are a few pics of the awesome cabin
We went to the local grocery store (cutest little grocery store ever, btw!) and loaded up for a few meals cooked at the top of the mountain!
On Sunday night we were planning on going to our friend's house that lived on the other side of the mountain for dinner....but then they kept talking about the snow storms that were coming.....

Now, The Hubs and I are definitely not those people that freak out about a little bit of snow, but when the drive up is windy and curvy and at what seems to be 90 degree angle you re-think things....seriously this drive was the steepest we have ever seen, I wish I had gotten pics!

So we decided we would stay in and cook another meal at home, and boy am I glad we did! There was only about 1/2 inch of snow, but lots of wet and ice, we wouldn't have made it home to our sweet pups!! :)
The Hubs grilling in the snow...
We had some much needed relaxing quality time with each other and the pups and it was deeeelightful!
I am already planning in my head a trip back to that very same cabin with Elise and some of our BFFs...maybe New Years again?!?! :)
