Happy Friday Folks!

So, I thought I would play Fill in the Blank Friday for 2 reasons:

1. I am umotivated again....
2. I haven't played in a while!

So here we go....

1.   When I was a kid I wanted to be     a business woman...I had no idea what that meant, i just new I wanted to be like my daddy   when I grew up.

2.   As an adult, my dream job would be   a graphic designer/shop owner     .

3.  W hen I was younger I wanted to be just like  Kelly from Saved By The Bell  .

4. The childhood Halloween costume that I remember most was when I was    my "50's Girl" costume. i had a poodle skirt that my grandma made, my scarf around my neck, my hair in a perfectly curled ponytail, and either roller skates or these fabulous black and white shoes....I wore that costume a lot!

5.  My favorite childhood toy was    Jem. Anything Jem. Jem is truly outrageous, Truly, truly, truly outrageous - Jem is my name, No one else is the same, Jem is my name

6.  The time I got into the biggest amount of trouble when I was a kid was when I     ....my friend talked me into taking the bike trail away from my house that I wasn't allowed to take without my parents...I will never forget coming back and seeing my mom standing there....big trouble.

7.  I get daily inspiration from    bloggers, my mom, my friends, stranger's stories

Happy Halloween Weekend Everybody!

My latest craftiness

Good Morning Ladies, it is a cold, rainy, and just gross day here in Music City....which leaves me with little motivations. I just want to me at home under a blanket with my pups and hubs watching last night's episode of Revenge (although, I don't think The Hubs would love Revenge as much as I do...).

So, I thought I would share when I had a lot of motivation and creativity last week. I good friend of mine is about to welcome their first baby boy in about a week! So I decided to make here a sign for little man's nursery....check it out!

my first chevron paint job....and it turned out pretty good, huh?! :)

Don't cha just love the name Elliot?! : )
Well, that's all I got for you today folks...hope everyone in Nashville stays dry and warm! :)

A much needed Friday!

Well, it is Friday....and I honestly couldn't be more happy about it. I am so tired and this week seemed to draaaaag on!

I have a few things to be very happy about...
1. I am not driving anywhere or doing anything tonight other than a nice quiet date night at home with the hubs! It has been almost 2 months since that has happened! Yippee!!
 2. My parents are coming in town tomorrow!!

3. Sweet Baby Girl Adelyn was born yesterday and I got to meet her!!
She is the tiniest, most precious, sweetest, and adorable little girl I have ever held! :)
She has so much blonde hair too!!
The Hubs LOVED her! They were so sweet and so cute!
See....he held her forever and she just slept! :)
The balloons and flowers we brought the amazing momma! 31 hours of labor and no epidural!! The woman is one helluva a woman!!! :)
So that is it for my Friday, hoping I can get a second wind here at some point because right now I am slacking!

Happy Weekend!!

She is almost here!!!

I am dying today as this sweet couple is about to welcome their baby girl into this world!!

They went to the hospital yesterday when her contractions started but was sent home until they got closer to each other. At 12:45am I got a text that they were heading back in!! I spoke with the Hubby/Father-to-be at 6 :30 this morning and she was almost there. I am dying!!

I cannot wait to meet you, sweet Adelyn.....I will spoil you rotten!!

(the banner we made her hanging above her crib, love!)

Say some prayers for the new family that all goes well!!

Happy Fall Y'all!!

Well, I was looking at my BFF's blog and her post of all her Fall decor when I realized I have not shown you mine! :)

It's not much, but it does make me happy every time I come home....I just love holiday decor! :)

First up, my door sign.....I got it at the Dollar Tree two years ago! You can't tell from the picture, but the writing is all sparkly and fun!
Our front porch, if you can't tell...I LOVE mums!
(please disregard the dead ones planted under the yellow ones.....they died while we were in Mexico...but are slowly coming back! :))
little close up of my "B"
Thank you Pinterest!
Our kitchen buffet, please notice the pumpkin napkins hanging on the oven behind!
Our table centerpiece, candles with candy corn.
Thank you again, Pinterest!
More candy corn (it's dangerous!) and my scentsy which is filled with....
 this....and I LOOOOOOOOVE this scent!
It really does smell like the perfect Fall evening in my house every day!
(speaking of, I also bought the Pumpkin Roll and Christmas Cottage for the rest of the Fall season! If you don't have scentsy...get it! I LOVE IT!)
Speaking of fabulous Fall scents.....my mother in law got me the Pumpkin Butter WoodWick candle over the weekend and oh my fabulousness!! I have it in The Hubs' man cave and it even smells like Fall down there! :)
And last, but not least...our mantle. Fall leaves and my $1 "Boo" sign from Target. LOVE it!

So there is all my Fall decor....I am slowly doing more projects and will post after they are done.

Happy Tuesday and more importantly, Happy Fall!!

Gorgeous Weather - Not so good football.....

Happy Monday Folks!

I hope you had a fabulous weekend enjoying this AMAZING weather!!
Seriously, this is THE Most Wonderful Time of the Year! From now until December...I am a HAPPY girl! :)

So onto the second part of my title.......the not so good football....it was a rough one for Ole Miss and UT. Both were expected (especially my poor terrible Rebels)...but still stung a little bit.

Here are the very minimal pictures I took......

Us at the game

Okay, please focus on the guy 4th down....head to toe purple and gold...earrings, stickers on his face.....your typical terrible LSU fan. Sorry if you are an LSU fan.....you understand with me being a Rebel and all. :) But needless to say, LSU has some interesting fans.....
And here are a few videos, if you have never been to Neyland Stadium....it is an experience every college football fan should experience. 110,00 people screaming Rocky Top and cheering as they run through the "T".....even if you aren't a UT fan you feel it.
This doesn't do it full justice, but gives you an idea....

We got to spend some much needed time with the in-laws, some outdoor time with the pups, and then some lazy couch time to watch the new Scream movie
(which was actually pretty good....I loved all the Scream movies)

So all and all....it was a DE-LIGHTFUL weekend!

Hope yours was good too!

Happy Weekend to you all!!

Pinning Love!

Happy Wednesday Ladies!!
So, today I am going to do a little theme.....one of my very best BFF's is due next Saturday and I am counting down the days....

How precious are they?!?!
Any who, I thought I would do a baby themed pinterest since I do have baby and nursery boards...here are a few I love....

I think I have posted this before...but come on, is that just not THE cutest thing ever?! The shirt and the baybay!
Love this idea for an announcement!
SO freaking cute!
 Great gift for Daddy!
Bhahahaha!

This makes me giggle!

This too!
And here are a few of my favorite nurseries....

Now onto WILW!

Staying with the theme....I am loving this website......I am creating a page on mealbaby.com for my said BFF. And I just have to say I love this website!

It is such a great website. Friends and family can go onto their page, see their food likes and dislikes, allergies and then click on the calendar to pick a day to bring food. They can also see what everyone else is bringing so that they don't get lasagna 4 nights in a row! :) Once you are signed up an e-mail is sent to them so they know who, when, and what they are bringing. I have it set up to the Daddy-to-be's e-mail. But I highly recommend setting it up for any of your friends who are expecting!

I am loving that I am getting my hair done today....one of my favorite things to do! :)
I am also loving this new hair creme I bought. I was deciding between these two....went home and read reviews and the Potion 9 out did the Paul Mitchell. I love Paul Mitchell, but I went for Potion 9....and I LOVE IT! It smells fabulous and you can use it on wet or dry hair! Check it out!
I am loving that tonight is our girl's Supper Club!

It has been a while and I am very much looking foward to it!
I am also loving that we are heading to Knoxville this weekend! The high is 71 degrees! PERFECT football weather!! Here's hoping for an upset!!
And finally and most importantly.....I am so in love and beyond smitten with my Hubby!
XOXOXOXO

Happy Wednesday, Folks!
