More about our little Nugget!

First of all, thank you all so so much for all of the sweet sweet comments!!!!
You are all so fabulous and your kind words made me smile all day long!!!
Thank you, bloggy friends, thank you!! :)

First a few answers and then I will start with the stories of how I/we told everyone! :)

When did you find out?
Remember this post here? Where I talked about all the cute baby pins I loved??
Yeah, I had to document it somehow since I couldn’t say it out loud! :)

How far along? Due Date?
I will be 13 weeks on Friday, which makes us due on June 22, 2012!!
I have been to the doctor twice, the first time (9 weeks) we got this amazing little picture our little nugget!

And it is so true, you don’t care or understand these pictures until it is your little one. So don't worry, if this is just a random blob, you didn't hurt my feelings! :)
And yes, I cried when I saw that little heart flicker.
The best thing I have ever seen in my whole life!

The second time was yesterday, when I got to hear that little heartbeat.
And that was just as amazing!! The doctor kept trying to tell me it is normal if he can't find it with the doppler this early, and if so it was okay we would just order another ultrasound, da da da but the second that doppler hit my belly that good strong heartbeat came through loud and clear!
And we recorded it on my iPhone (seriously, what did we do without iPhones?!?!?!) so I can listen to it any time I want!! :)

Morning Sickness?
Well, yes and no.
I haven’t actually gotten sick, but I have been nauseous for about 2 months now, with it being worse the past 2-3 weeks. I almost wish I did get sick sometimes....nausea is terrible! Bleh!
And it is all day....ALL day!
Other symptoms?
The fatigue is ridiculous.
You hear about it, people warn you, but you never think it is going to be that bad.
I mean, I feel like the laziest person ever. And I hate that feeling!
I could count the number of times I have cooked dinner in the past 2 months on 1 hand.
And I love to cook!! Poor Hubby.
And working out...ugh! I was okay until we got that stomach bug...and then Thanksgiving...damn you exhaustion!!
But I am slowly getting back. The naps at lunch are fading, dinner is starting to be cooked at home every night (rather than in a kitchen at a restaurant and brought home), and I actually stayed up passed 9:30 last week!
Also, going to the bathroom constantly! How can I pee that much?!
Feel short of breath...this was a weird one, but very normal for pregnancy....it seems my body needs more oxygen...
Sore boobs, TMI? Sorry...but oh so true. Again, people tell you and warn you...but sheesh!
And of course I a few others, but I will spare you! :)

Carbs, carbs, and more carbs…..oh and sweets.
More specifically, pizza, French fries, and Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream....oh and cake.
Awesome for my diet, right?!
But it was pretty awesome being knocked up at Halloween and Thanksgiving….full of carbs and sweets!!

Veggies. Pretty much all of them.
Which sucks because I am normally a rabbit. I love fruits and veggies, always my go-to snacks.
Thankfully I have still been able to enjoy my fruit, but veggies sound terrible!
Along with steak, yuck and no thank you!

Were you trying?
Yes, but not very long….like the first month!
We The Hubs thought 2 years (married) was a good time to start “not not trying”, so come August I stopped taking that lovely little pill every morning.
Remember back in September we took our little trip to Mexico..........
Yes, this is our little Mexico Baby/Mexican Memory.
The hubs keeps saying we are going to name it something Mexican, HA!

Guesses on baby girl or boy?
I am going with a sweet, dirt and bugs, little boy. I have been from the beginning.
The Hubs thinks it’s a girl.....along with everyone else in the world except for me and my mother-in-law....but I believe Momma knows!
(ahhhh, I am gonna be a momma!!!)
But as every parent says and truly means, we don't care as long as this little nugget is healthy!!

Are you finding out?
Yes, we are definitely finding out!
I am way too impatient and way too much of a planner not to find out!!!
We will find out the first of February!!
And yes, we are totally having a gender reveal party!!

Names yet?
Yes we have a couple picked out for the girl, I think the boy is pretty much done.
More on that to come, you know me…I need opinions! :)

But that's it so far on Baby B!

Thank you again so much for all your sweet thoughts, they really did mean the world to me! :)

Next, I will share how we shared the news! :)

haha this all sounds SO familiar - trust me in a few weeks the nausea and fatigue will disappear, almost over night and you'll feel great. I can't wait for that moment to come for you, it was AMAZING when it did for me!

and I'm glad to hear I'm the the only preggo carboholic, I hated veggies too during my first trimester!
