Happy Birthday to The Hubs!!

Okay, so this is a 3 week overdue recap.....but I had to share the few pics I had!

The hubs had is 32nd birthday 3 weeks ago and we had a fabulous little celebration.
(I say little only because we went to Disney World the next day....talk about a good birthday!! :))

I made the hubs a fabulous birthday cake, and I must say....I was kinda proud of myself, turned out pretty decent! :) The fun part was the inside....but more on that later....

I made him breakfast in bed....as I always do...cinnamon rolls and bacon, per his request. I added some strawberries for a little healthy part.... :)
See, happy boy! :)

That night his parents and Grandmother came in town to go out to dinner with us. See, his birthday is also his parent's anniversary! A little before pic....

The hubs and and his sweet sweet grandma, love her! :)
She brought me presents on the hubs' birthday....such a sweet and amazing lady!
I meant to get pictures of all of the amazing food, but totally forgot. We went to Jimmy Kelly's again (the hubs fell in love after Valentines Day) and they did not let us down!

They brought the most rich and amazing chocolate cake....see, he's making a serious wish!

And that was the birthday.....but I must share my cake.....check out the inside!!

Pretty cool, huh?! If you have been around a while, I did it last year to, with orange and white....but it melted and didn't look so pretty. ...

I thought I would take some pics of the process this time....

First step, make 2 different cake colors....I just went ahead and did 2 different mixes to ensure that I had enough...hence the extra marble cake in the back right....
It is a special kit that has a piece of plastic you put in the cake pan to guide this bullseye....
Let them cook and then stack alternating...chocolate outside, then white, then chocolate, then ice....

 Then decorate! :)

 Then enjoy!!
mmmm, I want some now....may have to make another....

Umm can I hire you to make my husbands birthday cake next year?! I'm not that talented in the baking department. :)
