an ode to my nonexsisten green thumb.

Dear nonexistent green thumb,

Please become existent. I have tried to have a green thumb, any shade will do - but it never lasts. I work for hours in my yard, develop pain in areas I never thought possible via gardening, step back and I am proud......but then slowly but surely - it dies, goes away, or just stops looking pretty. I get mad/frustrated/unwilling/unhopeful and then I let it go for a little while and then it just looks bad. It is a vicious viscious cycle! Why oh why can you not just make my yard look like this from the first day of spring to the last day of summer....why?

{I heart window boxes}

{maybe some lemonade here....}

{maybe some wine and cheese here....}

{definitely some frolicking here....}

{this looks like an Ole Miss garden....Hotty Toddy!!!}

{read a book on that LOVELY bright bench}

{ahhhh, more window boxes!!!}

{skip down the cobblestone path...}

{sit on this delightful porch and people watch}

{and if only I had the courage to have bright happy house like this}

Now, nonexistent green thumb, I know you can't do all of these things - but every little bit helps!! :)

Thank you so much for your help!
Sincerely,

Sarah
