Wishful Wednesday - Diet.....eeekkk!!!!

It is time again for the lovely Wishful Wednesday! And let me just say, there are some fun things going on in the world of Mr. and Mrs. B this week and I am having several wishes of my own going through my head! But more to come on that later....................onto this week's topic:


I wish' .... I had the willpower to



stay on one particular diet,



and it would be the "no french fries/get your ass butt behind up and run diet!"



So, I am not much of a dieter, I have tried a few things in the past and then life gets in the way and I cheat, then I cheat again, then I give up (but lets be serious, I don't really try to stop life from getting in the way....). Luckily for the most part I really enjoy healthy foods. We eat pretty healthy in the B household. I LOVE fruits & vegetables, LOVE. I have been told many times I could be a rabbit. Salads are my favorite thing. Ever. I eat at least one everyday, normally two. Good healthy spinach salad with a bunch of veggies on it...mmmmm! Even when I am cooking I uses fat free or reduced fat ingredients and no one ever knows the difference! Now, don't get me wrong, no one loves a big slice of cheesy pepperoni pizza or a big ole' greasy cheeseburger and fries more than me..... and there in lies my problem....

the lovely, salty, greasy, oh-so-tasty french fry...

I cannot say no to these suckers, always have and always will be my weakness. I can be having the most ridiculously healthy meal and then someone and sometimes that someone is me... orders fries.....and then it is all over. For example, J.Alexander - I love, love, love - they have the best salads and I eat there for lunch quite often......and more often than not I order their french fries

I mean how yummy do they look?
(And I love that they are served with grilled salmon! That is definitely a "Sarah" meal!)

and curly fries! they just make it fun!

and we can't discriminate against the delightful tater-tot!

Any kind of fried potato should not be put in front of me. Period.

Then there is my lack of enthusiasm to get up and run......I wish sooooooooooooooo badly I could make myself get up in the morning to run, or do any sort of work out for that matter. I am always running errands in the evenings and somehow, no matter how hard I try, I cannot get myself on a schedule in the evenings. Everything would be perfect if I could jump out of bed with a smile on my face and uber amounts of motivation and go work out with my husband.....instead I look more like this.....

So, if I could stop eating french fries I wouldn't have to worry so much about working out everyday.....if I worked out everyday I wouldn't have to worry about my unhealthy love affair with french fries.....it is a vicious vicous cycle, I tell you!!!!

Okay, so that may not really be a "diet" but that is where my crazy mind went with that topic today.... :) forgive me....

I'm with you! I love love love salty foods, and the french fry- delicious. The rest of the time, I'm pretty healthy- but put something salty in front of me, and I've lost. Oh well! Although I usually can pass up the tater tot. :)

HAHA -- but all those fries look so nice and appetizing. Who would want to give those up when they make my mouth water!!!
