Thoughtless Thursday - Musical Edition

Happy Thursday {aka "My Friday" - woo hoo!!! :)} to everyone!! It is time for, you guessed it.......

I am particularly happy on this lovely Thursday because in just a few short hours I am hopping in the car to go see these lovely peeps

with an extra special appearance of this precious little girl!!

My sweet sweet niece, Arin!!
LOVE this girl and I never get to see her because she lives so far away, but mom called me with a little surprise yesterday - that she was coming to see Aunt Sarah this weekend!!! YIPPEE!!!!!!!! Her and Maylie are going to be BFFs, Otto is already her personal pony. :)

Okay, back to Thoughtless Thursday!! The hubs and I are big music fans. BIG. This is one of the main reasons we are both so in love with Nashville - there is always live music and always great artists coming to town. We love indie music in particular, with a little mix of good old fashioned country. We have some of our favorite memories at shows and it is always a great evening with friends! That being said, there has been a drought of live music shows for me and the hubs here recently....and I am oh so sad about that.....between not so good indie music out right now and trying to save money where we can, it just hasn't happened as much as we'd like. Soooooo, I am going to live through my old pics and share a few of our favorite shows from days past! :)

I have posted this one a couple times {it's one of my faves - our first pic together! }, The Killers at The Ryman back in 07 - our first concert together! :)

The Kings of Leon with The Features at The Tabernacle in Atlanta in 07 {back when Kings of Leon were cool! Tehehe!}. My birthday present to Mr. B! Also, the night he told me he loved me.....ahhh memories!

Kings of Leon, again, with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club at The Ryman - I do believe this was one of the most awesomest {yes, I know that is not a real word, what of it?!?!} shows I have ever been to.  Black Rebel was better than KOL and we were 2 feet from the stage, it was fantabulous!! I had to be on a plane at 6am the next morning for my brother's wedding.....not so awesome.

British Sea Power at Mercy Lounge

Smashing Pumpkins at The Ryman, hands dow, greatest show ever. EVER!!!
No really, ever!!!

LadyHawk with 2 of our favorites for Mr. B's B-day take 2!

The Bravery at The Wildhorse!

The Hives! The rock, awesome live!

The Black Keys at The Ryman - pretty freaking fantastic!! I heart Dan Auerbach!!
And Jesco White opened up for them....I had no idea who he was either, but it was one of the most entertaining things I have seen! Google him.

Tunica to see Dwight Yokam with the Moms and Dad for Daddy's Birthday.

Oblio {a local Nashville band, you should totally check them out} at Exit Inn

Ben Folds at The Ryman - again, awesome!
But really....who isn't awesome at The Ryman!??!

Blake Shelton at The Ryman just a few weeks ago.....okay, so this pic is not really at The Ryman - it's at Legends right before. but.....

this is!

So, those are just a few of the many many shows we have been lucky enough to attend! There are a few coming to town this summer that we are hoping to take advantage of - and don't fret, I will always have pics!! :)

Now, head on over to Life in the Fulmer Lane and share some random photography!! :)

So Happy Thursday and Happy Friday to all and have a splendid weekend!!!
